Dr. Gonzalo Martín Peña
Dr. Gonzalo Martín Peña is the chief doctor of the Endocrinology department in Ruber International Hospital and a specialist in Internal Medicine.
His work philosophy is based on evaluating the patient’s medical problems from a holistic perspective, since frequently illnesses can be interrelated. For this reason, Dr. Martín Peña also graduated as a specialist in Internal Medicine. This allows him to examine the patient from different perspectives and adopt a global approach to the patient’s problems.

Besides his professional and academic activity, the doctor has published different articles in various international medical journals such as the “Journal of Parenteral Nutrition”, “Nutrition” and the “European Journal of Clinical Nutrition”. He has also performed an extensive study of the composition of different foods and recipes of traditional Spanish recipes (“Over 1080 tips on your diet”, Alianza Editorial, 1996) and published various articles in national newspapers and magazines.
